Sources of pollutants

Biological pollutants are derived from either the pollutant being a living thing, or from a living thing and are gases or particles (in mold spores). Common places for biological pollutants to orginate from are such things as your pet and your mattress. Chemical pollutants can be either gases (eg carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide) or particles (eg soot).
